While on a cruise in the Western Caribbean, psychic energy was captured on film and paranormal activity was witnessed on many occasions aboard Royal Caribbean's cruise ship the Majesty of the Seas. Ghost globules were present in several photographs, but were not visible after scanning into the computer. One can be seen in the upper left portion of the photo, in one of the many lounge areas onboard.

There are many beautiful pieces of artwork onboard the ship but a statue of a warrior crafted of bronze caught my attention as being really creepy. I felt if I were going to get any good ghost photos it would most likely be around this statue. I was surprised to find the pictures of him clear, but to my amazement the two following pictures showed the energy captured here.

During the cruise I experienced a few unusual paranormal events.  The first thing Emilee and I noticed was the continual problems with the television, but being on a boat in the middle of an ocean, we figured this was probably normal...The rooms which were next to us on either side of us experienced no difficulties with any of their electrical appliances or equipment, but we thought maybe we just had a faulty connection somewhere.   Twice we called the onboard electrician, and twice he couldn't find anything wrong with the set or it's connections.  We only added in these disturbances to our list of weird events after other things began to emerge.

Gettin a little crazy first night onboard...

I prepared to take a shower one afternoon, while Emilee was gallivanting who knows where (!), and in so doing, I laid out my clothes on the bed and my hair and jewelry accessories on the mirrored dresser-top.  I distinctly remember doing so, as I had to retrieve a new pair of earrings out of a pocketbook to do so, and stood there admiring them for a moment.  15 minutes later, after dressing, I couldn't find the earrings where I'd left them and began a scramble searching for them. At first I thought maybe Emilee had come into the room and perhaps "borrowed" them without asking me (like she often did with my room key...).  Just then "something" prompted me to look over at the pillow and there dead center were the earrings, side by side. OK, now I realized something abnormal was going on..I did not notice them there when I got my clothes off of the bed.

The next event was one of the most bizarre I have ever been witness to, in the respect that something dematerialized right out of my hand (this usually only happens with money - hahaha:)
I had been enjoying a conversation with the other guests at our dinner table, when we began talking about ghosts and the paranormal (I know, surprise, surprise!).  I happened to mention a book I was currently reading that's basis was centered on demonology.  I went back to my room, retrieved the book to show and headed straight back to the table.  I did not stop anywhere, meet anyone, or set the book down anywhere...yet when I arrived back at the table, I was astounded (as were they I'm sure..) that I was no longer holding the book.  You should have seen the look on my face! I can still feel the amazement I felt then.  It was so bizarre! The book was never ever found or turned into the Ship's Lost and Found department and we found the whole situation highly unexplainable!
Another small detail included the feeling of someone rubbing my leg at around 4:30 am.
( The problem was I was alone in the room....)

Comments from Viewers: Dear Donna,
OK, I worked for Royal Caribbean from 1991 to 1995. I worked several times on the Majesty of the Seas. From my cabin in the crew area, I personally heard the banging and the muffled voices and sounds. I was aware of all noises because this was the first time I had ever been on a ship. It took me about 2 weeks to calm down, everytime the ship creaked, I was sure something was wrong! I would close the nightclub around 4am and head back to my cabin thru the crew passage. Because of the early hour, not much activity was happening so when you heard a noise, you looked. Sometimes I would hear what would sound like footsteps following me. I would turn around, and nothing would be there. The same with the muffled "voices". You would hear them (they were always  indistinguishable, but definitely male voices), and when you would look to the area that they were coming from, they would stop.

I would ask several of my coworkers if they ever heard anything like what I heard and they would always tell me it was because the ship was haunted. I thought they were trying to scare me, initiate me because it was my first time working on a ship. Finally, The sound and light director sat down and talked to me. It seems that a fire had broke out on the ship right before she was set to sail. Several men were killed. (this happened in France). They cut the burnt out section of the Majesty and replaced it with a section of the sister ship, Monarch of the Seas. Both ships were being built at the same time. This practice of ship repair is not uncommon. This was done because the Majesty was to sail before the Monarch.

Seems there were always problems in the main showroom too. During a production, the whole lighting board would stop working, causing the room to lose all lights. The board would be quickly replaced and later, the same thing would happen again. When the stage crew would check the boards, they would then function like new. It was thought that there were problems with the electrical system, but they would be replaced constantly and nothing was ever found.

Now, when we would hear the voices and footsteps, no one ever felt scared or uncomfortable. It never really bothered you. You just got used to it. I have had the chance of going on a few "house cleansings" with a local parapsychologist. Let me tell you, WOW!, but that is another story for another time! Thanks for responding to my email.      Clint Austin

*JOKE*

A magician worked on a cruise ship in the Caribbean. The audience was different each week, so the magician allowed himself to do the same tricks over and over again.

There was only one problem: the captain's parrot saw the shows each week and began to understand how the magician did every trick.

Once he understood, he started shouting in middle of the show: "Look, it's not the same hat!" "Look, he's hiding the flowers under the table."  "Hey, why are all the cards the ace of spades?"

The magician was furious but couldn't do anything. It was, after all, the captain's parrot.

One day the ship had an accident and sank. The magician found himself on a piece of wood in the middle of the sea with, as fate would have it, the parrot. They stared at each other with hatred but did not utter a word.

This went on for a day and then another. On the third day, the parrot could not hold back any longer: "OK, I give up. Where's the ***** ship?
