When a wily peddler stays the night, Rood accuses him of stealing his apples and commits a violent deed that soon taints the fruit of his orchard with the blood of guilt.

- Yankee Magazine! Article inspired by a new book entitled “Ghost Hunters of New England” by Allen Brown, a University of Alabama professor. The magazine features an excerpt from the book’s chapter on The Cosmic Society of Paranormal Investigation from Donna Kent and photos of the group’s “headquarters,” the haunted Carousel Gardens. September/October 2008 and available NOW!
- Believe it or Not!! Ghost Hunting is “Almost recognized as an actual occupation” I was told by the editor of OSH (Occupational Safety & Health) magazine. “To spice up their October 2008 issue” they are featuring an article/interview with Donna Kent’s ideas on Safety Tips and Procedures for Ghost Hunters in October 2008.
Here’s a snippet: “Ghost hunters should always scout out a potential field location during the daylight if possible. If you’re exploring a cemetery, look for “No trespassing” signs or barriers, things like small or worn head and footstones that can pose potential trip hazards - nobody wants to end up in an open grave!”

(I honestly can’t remember what this one is about…ghosts, I’m sure…it’s either about the upcoming Haunted CT Tours in that area of CT or our annual Lantern Light Graveyard Walk through Norwichtown’s Old Burial Grounds.
- “New Haven Magazine” joins this season’s roster of publications that are featuring an interview with Donna in an October 2008 article on all things spooky and paranormal. Their piece will focus on haunted New Haven locations such as The Shubert Theater, which will be a chapter in one of Donna’s upcoming new “Ghost Stories and Legends” series of Haunted CT books. The Cosmic Society of Paranormal Investigation is hosting its “Night of Ghost Hunting” at CT's MOST Haunted Victorian Mansion - The Carousel Gardens Restaurant. Founder of CosmicSociety.com and "Ghostess Hostess" Donna Kent will begin the evening with a mini slide presentation highlighting photos and paranormal experiences from her 13 years at the location. Ghost hunting techniques, equipment usage and set-up as well as spiritual protection procedures will be discussed. Questions are encouraged - bring them!
Attendees will then have access to the haunted mansion to gather their own evidence from the resident spirits - so bring your cameras, voice recorders and flashlights - And don’t forget your courage!
Attendance is limited.
